The Toowoomba City Council Community Information Directory (CID) was one of the larger database systems I have designed. Handling over a thousand organisations and related data adding up to nearly 20,000 interconnected piece of information and over 500 pages in the printed hard copy edition. Distributed as both CD, Web and Print, the CID provides Toowoomba with a vital source of information. The CID also featured security concerns with an external organisation being charged with editing the site resulting in a specialized set of ACL's being added to the system and integrated into the CID application.
